A company's brand is one of its greatest assets. Without monopolies, in a free market economy, businesses need to find competitive advantage. A strong and clear brand cannot be copied (not legally at least). 

Brands offer a USP that no other has. It offers differentiation even where products or services do not. It offers opportunity to win market share on its strength and importantly, business longevity and financial stability. 

Managing a growing a brand requires a clear strategy. Understanding what it stands for and represents. Products and services must contribute to its growth. Its voice and image will be complimentary and in-line with its documented vision.
